Background

Jargon PR is an international PR agency that delivers world-class campaigns for technology companies, focused on raising profile and enhancing credibility.

Challenge

At the top of Jargon PR’s wish list was a cost-effective solution that would allow their team to submit expenses online. At the time, this was all completed manually and created a lot of admin to process and keep on top of.

They also required a smooth migration process that would minimise any additional work needed to get the new system up and running.

Solution

As a long term user of our Absence Management software LeavePlanner, the switch to HR Planner made sense for the team at Jargon PR. They were impressed with the expanded range of features on offer, including a much-needed expenses module, at a price point that wouldn’t break the bank.

Once the move was agreed, implementation was scheduled. This process was smooth and seamless, as all of their historic absence data in LeavePlanner could be quickly migrated across to HR Planner.  A personal welcome email was created within the system allowing users to be briefed on the new software, including new login details and a checklist of tasks to complete, such as adding personal contact details to their record.

Outcome

Jargon PR are delighted to be using HR Planner. By allowing them to manage all of their HR obligations in one place, it has simplified their processes and removed the need for multiple systems to manage different areas.

While they were originally focused on the need for a digital expenses solution, the additional features that come as standard have been warmly received. All their company data is stored in a user-friendly format, while staff have found that the leave and absence functionality makes submitting requests quick and simple. On top of this, the company also gets a cloud-based document storage module that allows them to add everything from sickness forms to certificates.

HR Planner’s customisable dashboards mean that each user is able to tailor their view and experience to their preferences, allowing them to see just the information they need.
